Marriott Crystal City vs. Crystal Gateway

I have a reservation at Crystal City for $109/nt on a bonus bucks promotions (Oct 12-15). Now the Crystal Gateway is offering the same rate and promotion. The Gateway is ranked higher on TA.

Help!! Which one is better??

Hmmmmm................I would say Gateway. Either one would be good, you can%26#39;t really go wrong. But I think Gateway offers more ammenities. Can%26#39;t understand why Marriott would build 2 regular Marriott hotels right next to each other like that. Can%26#39;t understand it for the love of me.

They are literally across the street from one another. I would go with the one with better ratings. Agree that I have NO idea why you would build TWO Marriotts next to each other. Confuses the heck out of people when trying to find their hotel.

I just had an excellent stay at the Marriott Crystal City (I posted a really long story on it in the post comparing that property to the Ritz-Carlton, so you may want to read that). I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll go wrong with either.

Didn%26#39;t notice you already have the reservation. Keep it. I also pondered switching when I saw that a room opened up at the Gateway but decided not to.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your comments. I actually have a reservation at both Marriott%26#39;s while I try to make up my mind! I%26#39;m leaning toward the Gateway based on the reviews here on TA.
