Transportation from MCI Center to Udvar-Hazy Center NASM

I%26#39;ve tried to use the WMATA Trip Planner without much success.

What are some options for getting from the MCI Center (or anywhere nearby in the Penn Quarter) to the Udvar-Hazy Center NASM in Chantilly, VA (address: 14390 Air and Space Museum Parkway, Chantilly, VA).

MetroRail? MetroBus?

You can walk or take the Metro to the NASM (L%26#39;Enfant Plaza Metro station) and take the NASM%26#39;s shuttle bus to the Udvar-Hazy Center. You can get specific details from the SI/NASM website at www.si.edu.

According to their site, the NASM Express Shuttle Bus Service ends Sept 5, 2006. I%26#39;m coming to DC mid-october. Any other advice?

Your only options after 9/5 are to drive, take a taxi directly, or take a taxi or transit to either Dulles Airport or Dulles Town Center, where you can connect to the Virginia Regional Transit bus.
