my flight with united from heathrow to new york has finished operating as of november. there are four of us travelling together and we have been put on a flight via washington. we will arrive at washington dulles at 14.52 and we will leave for new york at 17.05 will this give us enough time to collect our baggage, clear customs and check-in for our next flight. we will be flying on wednesday 23rd may 2007
change of flight
You will have plenty of time. You will go through customs and immigrations at the mid-field terminal and have your bags rechecked for your next flight. Depending on what airline you have to connect to, you may have to switch terminals, but that is really no big deal.
change of flight
thanks for your reply, i was a bit concerned because the security website said if you have to connect flights, clearing customs could take 1-2 hours. it then says to check-in 1 1/2 hours before for a domestic flight. taking all this into account i thought there would not be enough time.
You should be fine, and if not, United has other flights that evening to New York. They%26#39;ll just put you on one of those if you don%26#39;t make the original connection.
