family of four adults, spending five days in each of NY and Washington DC.
Ideally we would like a fairly central hotel - walking is no problem [but it%26#39;s good to be near enough to change shoes during the day if necessary]. A quad room would be cheaper than two separate I%26#39;m sure and It would be easier and more cost effective if breakfast, even continental , was served in the hotel. It is not necessarily a cheap hotel we want, but just the best deal preferably under $200 a night.
An indoor pool would be a wonderful bonus
As it will be 5thto 11th April, the cherry blossom festival will be on so rooms may be at a premium so we want to book soon.
Any advice on any aspect of this visit would be most welcome
which area/ hotel for four ?
Just note that hotels are more expensive during the cherry blossom festival. Start by checking websites such as quikbook.com or hotwire or expedia.
