Grasonville, Maryland to DC by Train

Can anyone tell me what the nearest MARC train station to Grasonville is that will get me into DC? Thanks

I don%26#39;t think there is a MARC station near Grasonville. The closest would be back over the Bay Bridge in Odenton, I think.

Are none on the eastern shore. You will have to come back across the bridge. If you are just coming into DC for a day trip you could drive into New Carrollton Metro Station which is directly off of Route 50 (highway that the bay bridge is on) and there is a Metro Station there (orange line) that will take you into DC. Only problem is you would need to get there early as the parking spaces fill fast. (7:30am at least I would say). There is also a Marc Train/Amtrak station here.

Question:

Are you driving yourself or is someone just going to drop you off so you can get into DC?

Thanks for the reply. Someone will drop us off(with luggage). We are going to a wedding and staying in Grasonville and then are moving to a hotel in DC. I just need need to get into DC and will cab it to a the hotel from there.

Marc at Bowie State station. Just off of 50 to 197. Would take about 40 minutes driving.

Then the Odenton Station is probably closer in miles and time but more confusing to get to. A little less than 40 minutes driving

Also the New Carrollton Station is about 45 minute drive from Grasonville. Easiest to get to just off of Rt. 50. Signs everywhere.
