Getting Around the city

Hello!

We have one day only to see as much as we can. No flexibility. I have heard people mention that renting a seguay? I%26#39;m not sure how to spell it...might be a good option besides a bus tour or walking many miles (we have 3 middle/high school aged children).

Anyone know about renting these machines?

There is a segway tour that is offered. Search this forum since posters who went on this tour have described their experiences. I know that the tour does not allow kids under 16. IMO, since you have a limited amount of time, do consider either the Tourmobile (http://www.tourmobile.com/) or the Old Town Trolley (http://www.historictours.com/washington/).

thanks for the ideas! ANd, yes, you have to be 16 or older for the Segway tour. Too bad, it could have added another bit of fun to the day.
