We%26#39;re planning a stay at the Doubletree Guest Suites and are wondering if anyone has recommendations for any good restaurants in the area? Family-friendly would be great although we%26#39;d also be interested in ethnic or vegetarian food. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you don%26#39;t mind a bit of a walk, you%26#39;re not all that far from Georgetown where there is a great selection of restaurants. For example, Amma Vegetarian Kitchen which serves Indian cuisine, 3291 M St., NW. Pizzeria Paradiso (www.eatyourpizza.com) 3282 M St., NW; also Clyde%26#39;s (American cuisine--www.clydes.com) 3236 M St., NW--in the Georgetown Park Mall (www.shopsatgeorgetownpark.com). These are just a few suggestions--there%26#39;s alot more in Georgetown.

Meiwah (1200 New Hampshire Ave, NW at M Street) has very good chinese food and it%26#39;s family-friendly.
In Georgetown, Aditi (33rd %26amp; M) has good, well-priced Indian food. On the other end of Georgetown (closer to your hotel) is George%26#39;s Townhouse (1205 28th St. NW). I haven%26#39;t been there, but their hummus and falafel get good reviews.
There%26#39;s a new sushi restaurant called Wasabi (908 17th St. NW) that serves food on a conveyor belt. Could be fun, but I read that some of the dishes aren%26#39;t labeled so you have to be a bit adventurous.
