What are the must sees in dc? and best budget friendly hotel

Hi:

Check the Overview and Attractions tabs. Those will give you lots of ideas of things to see. You%26#39;ll need to narrow it down depending on your interests - there are many memorials, the Holocaust museum, the White House, the Capitol, etc.

I%26#39;ve always liked the looks of the River Inn, but have never been in it. It%26#39;s a good location near Foggy Bottom metro and walking distance to Georgetown for dining/shopping. Please write a review if you do end up there. Enjoy your stay!

Hi persephonek,

If you have some time before you go, contact your senator or congressman for FREE tickets to BEP, Congress, LOC, Whitehouse... It is a election year and they do want happy voters.

Enjoy your trip!

River Inn seems to be a pretty decent place. It%26#39;s in the Foggy Bottom area of DC which is easily accessible to Downtown and the Georgetown area. Pretty clean from the outside never been on the inside.

-Depending on how many days you are staying, the museums, monuments, and the WWII memorial, Vietnam Vet. Memorial, Arlington Cemetary are all nice places to go and they are free. Usually that is enough for most people staying less than 5 days.

-Mt. Vernon is nice. It isn%26#39;t free about $13.00 p/adult. But it is beautiful and if you are coming in the fall this is the best time to come I think. It is beautiful. www.mtvernon.org

-Spy Museum is nice not free about $15.00 p/adult. But when you can spend 2-3 days on free stuff you don%26#39;t mind spending that much for a few of the places.

-Use Metro if you didn%26#39;t already plan to. www.wmata.com for map and fee information. You will be near the foggy bottom metro station. I see you are from NY. Not as many stops in between but very convenient and easy to read (color coded).
