I am traveling with 3 other adults to Washington DC the third weekend of April. We will be staying over Saturday night and doing the site seeing on both Saturday and Sunday. My question is, are all the museums and such open regular hours on Sundays?
Thanks,
tip

Hours are posted on various websites.
Smithsonian museums are open every day of the year except Christmas. National Gallery of Art the same I believe.
If you plan to go to any private museums, look at their websites to check the hours.

Okay, thanks for your help!
Almost everything is open on Sunday. One exception is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
U.S. Capital Visitors Center is not open on Sunday%26#39;s.
Take a look at this website for all the Smithsonian museums and their hours. http://www.si.edu/visit/hours.htm
The federally funded museums (Smithsonian) are all free. Others like the Spy Museum and other privately owned ones charge admission.
You might also want to consider going to The National Archives which is also free. All original historical U.S. documents are housed here. http://www.archives.gov/
Have a great time.
