Dulles Town Center from IAD

I have a 5 hr layover on a Sunday and am considering a trip to the mall. What is the most reliable way to get there/back? Is there baggage storage at Dulles?

I agree-taxi or a car rental is probably the best way to go. There%26#39;s no Metro service between IAD and the Town Center.

Could you check your bags at your airline instead of trying to store them? I think the days of storing luggage (or anything for that matter) at airports are over--especially at IAD.

There is a Virginia Regional Transit bus route that goes from Dulles Airport to the Dulles Town Center Mall. However, it only operates Monday through Friday. So, on the weekends, you would have to use a taxi. For bus info:
