Take a taxi. It is the only sensible way. Taking public transportation would mean taking a bus to Metro, changing trains somewhere and then making your way from some Metro stop in Arlington to your hotel. If you say where in Arlington, you can get more specific information.

You said you don%26#39;t have an luggage and you don%26#39;t mind struggling to save a little money. Go to WMATA (the metro%26#39;s website) and plug in National Harbor and the location of your hotel in Arlington. It%26#39;ll give you specific public transit instructions on how to get from A to B.
I think she is saying ';no car'; but with ';luggage';, but it is phrased badly so that I was not sure. It would be unusual to be traveling for several days and staying in hotels with no luggage.
will be going from national harbor maryland to north court house rd to the hilton garden inn,,,how much do you think a taxi would cost???
thanks very much
will have luggage, will that be a problem???
correct, sorry for the confusion
Hauling luggage on the Metro, especially a bus, is seldom much fun. And taking it on the Metro trains when they are crowded is almost worse. And you will have to change from the Green Line to the Orange Line at L%26#39;Enfant Plaza to get from one hotel to another. It is certainly possible, but only you know how much hassle you are willing to put up with. It will certainly be cheaper than a taxi, but will take a lot longer in addition to the struggle of dragging your luggage around and up and down escalators.
Can you even take a guess how much a taxi would be???
I don%26#39;t have a clue and the only taxi calculator I know about is for DC. I don%26#39;t even know what Maryland taxis charge. But from the Gaylord, it is across the bridge to Alexandria and then maybe 5 miles to your hotel. A shorter ride than using public transportation that will go through DC. Ask at the hotel because they should have some idea, though I have heard service there is poor.
Service where is poor?? Do you mean available taxis??
