Monument Tours

Was thinking about a monument tour at night. Has anyone done this and do you recommend a particular company? Do they let you get out at all?

Monument Tours

Last week, a number of people mentioned in their posts that the monuments by moonlight tour was the highlight of their dc trip. We are planning on taking the tour this Saturday evening. When are you going? can let you know how it was upon our return on 3/24 if that%26#39;s no too late.

Monument Tours

We are also going on the ';Monuments by Moonlight'; tour from Old Towne Trolleys this Saturday evening. Yes, it is my understanding that you get out at each monument. I%26#39;ll do a trip report on this forum late next week when we get back...

See my ';Live from DC'; thread. We just did this Mon and loved it..Even in the rain!

Hi, flash407 - where specifically in or outside Union Station are the kiosks/desks/windows for the tickets for this tour or did you purchase in advance online?

We booked this tour because of the reviews I read on TA. We went on the website and preordered. Saved a few dollars anyway. We%26#39;ll be on the trolley 4/18. Looking forward to it.

Hi, I booked ONBOARDDC tours for both the day and night tours, they use a small shuttle, and their guide

step out with the group and give a brief history

of the monuments, I read in another forum some complaints about the trolley being a cold place

at this time of the year.

I booked my trip online and checked in at the kiosk in at Union Station. The kiosk is close to the street where the trolleys are lined up. The night we toured was cold and rainy but warm and dry inside the troley. Our driver was a tourguide and showed us many sights with antecedal info. It was GREAT. We stopped at the Jefferson, Lincoln, iwa jimaand the white house
