Looks like Cherry Blossoms and Festival might coincide

Every year it is a toss up as to whether or not the Cherry Blossom Festival will actually have Cherry Blossoms.

Each year when they set the dates for the Festival they have to guestimate the timeing, months in advance.

This of course often leads to the blossoms blooming either too early or too late for the festival.

This year it looks like it is spot on. Should be beautiful during the festival.

Those who are coming this year are very lucky.

For years I have wanted to visit Washington for the Cherry Blossoms but never managed to do so. This is the year! I plan to be there April 3 - 5, 2009. I have even reserved a bleacher seat for the parade on April 4, 2009. Do you know anything about the bleacher seating? I hope I didn%26#39;t make a mistake in reserving the seat. I also hope that you are right about the trees being in bloom at this time.

I love visiting Washington, DC, so even if the blossoms are not fully in bloom it will not be a wasted trip for me. I%26#39;ll still enjoy the city.
