recommendations on suites?

Hi,

We are planning on taking a scout group in 2010 to Washington DC. I have previously stayed at Embassy Suites Dupont Circle and liked it. Any other recommendations for suite hotels? We need to be fairly close to Metro (don%26#39;t want to be outside of city). Was wondering if other suite hotels included the breakfast too. That%26#39;s a big help with the budget!

Start by doing a search on ';suite hotels'; in the forum. There are several and this will help you narrow down what%26#39;s out there and what may work for you. Depending on your price range, some to look at include:

All Embassy Suites locations (4 in the area, but Convention Center, Dupont and Crystal City would be top for me, in that order)

Residence Inn (Dupont and Vermont Ave. locations)

Homewood Suites

Doubletree Guest Suites

Best Western Georgetown Suites

Georgetown Suites

Carlyle Suites

One Washington Circle Hotel

You said you don%26#39;t want to be outside the city, but you should consider Crystal City (in Arlington, VA). It%26#39;s only a few metro stops from the main tourist attractions and the rates can be much lower. If you are willing to expand your search, check out the Hampton Inn and Suites in Crystal City and the Doubletree Guests Suites there (and the Embassy Suites to compare prices)

Some include breakfast (usually the big chains).
