We will be in Washington DC from the 14th through 21st April. Are there any sports in the local area that we could watch?

Also I am having difficulty in finding any evening shows etc for the same dates, any thoughts?

Go to the Washington Nationals Baseball Team%26#39;s website and see what they have going on.

Baseball will be just starting off for the season (April-October), so everyone will be in a good mood since not enough time has passed for the team to reveal themselves as stinky! (LOL!)

Nats Stadium is brand spanking new. Easy to get to, and baseball tickets are affordable, and usually attainable.

The website for the Nationals is www.nationals.com and I%26#39;ll agree that its a great, nice venue to see a game.

Also, DC United is scheduled to play New England at RFK Stadium during that week. If you want to get a taste of American soccer (or football as the rest of the world calls it). www.dcunited.com

Have you looked at www.washingtonpost.com and checked the Going Out Guide? There is a monthly calendar that lists upcoming events. There are several things listed during your dates.
