My family and I will be visiting the last few days of March through the beginning of April. Most of the suggestions I have read say to dress in layers. Are jeans commonly worn or would casual dress be more appropriate?

For the usual tourist thing, just about anything is OK. Jeans are quite common. I don%26#39;t know of any tourist sites with a dress code other than requiring a shirt and some sort of footwear.

Most visitors wear jeans, but you%26#39;ll see people wearing all types/styles of dress. Make *sure* your shoes are comfortable!
There may be dress codes in some upscale restaurants.
We found the museums to be warm, so just peeled off our outer shirts to a T-shirt when inside.
