We are staying in Washington in late July over a weekend (2 nights). A family of four (11 and 8yo kids) that includes car as part of the package.
Can anybody suggest hotels with suitable car parking for around $175 pn for a quad room.
Thanks
Grumpy
Hotels %26amp; Car Parking in JulyIf you%26#39;re arriving at Baltimore-Washington or Dulles Airport (BWI or IAD), the car isn%26#39;t a bad idea since it will provide easy transport from the airport to the hotel and parking it for two nights will be far less than a taxi both ways.
But otherwise, the car may be more of a liability than bonus to your travel package. Every hotel either has its own or can arrange parking, but in Washington proper, they will charge you $25-$35/night for parking. And you will have little if any need for a car once you%26#39;re in Washington other than for getting you back to the aorementioned airports.
As for hotel rates--a lot depends on the specific weekend. More info?
