Thanksgiving Catering options . . . HELP!

Hi, all. I%26#39;m hoping very much that someone out there will be able to help me with this challenge.

I need to find a caterer or restaurant who can provide a fully-cooked whole turkey for an office pot-luck luncheon.

Every year, the office where I work has a pot-luck Thanksgiving luncheon the week before Thanksgiving. The deal is that the company provides the ';meat.';

In the past, we had an office member who had a connection and was able to get us the turkey, full cooked, along with some trimmings, for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, she%26#39;s unable to do that now.

I%26#39;ve been doing a lot of research and I%26#39;ve come up against a couple of road blocks:

1.) Prepared Thanksgiving meals aren%26#39;t available until the

last week of November.

2.) ';Prepared'; meals still have to be cooked before they can

be served. Most grocery stores only seem to provide all

the ingredientsand some only provide frozen turkeys.

3.) Places like Honey Baked Ham and Hickory Farms only

provide processed turkey ';loafs';

If anyone is aware of a restaurant or catering service who can provide a fully cooked whole turkey the week BEFORE Thanksgiving, the information would be greatly appreciated.

Our office is in the downtown area of Silver Spring, MD and a provider who actually delivers would be fantastic, but anyone within a reasonable driving distance (say, less than 10 miles) would be great!

Our luncheon starts at 12:00 noon, so we%26#39;d need to be able to have the turkey in time to slice and display it.

Thank you very much to anyone who can help us!

If you have a favorite sandwich shop near you with a full kitchen that offers ';real'; turkey sandwiches, simply ask if they%26#39;ll roast an extra bird for you on the day of your luncheon. We%26#39;ve done this for office holiday lunches from at least three sandwich shops near various jobs I%26#39;ve held over the years.

Currently, we get our turkeys for office parties from Atrium Cafe in SW DC, well-known for their fresh-roasted turkey sandwiches. (I believe they roast a dozen whole turkeys every morning, which still isn%26#39;t enough to meet demand). Hopefully you can find something closer.
