I%26#39;m looking for a cheap motel/hotel that%26#39;s within walking distance of a metro line, in a safe neighborhood.

Looking for inexpensive (under 100/night for a double) if possible, but still clean and safe. Doesn%26#39;t have to have any extras or anything, just need some hot water and a clean bed to sleep in.

-Holiday Inn Chevy Chase (Friendship Heights Metro Station)

Other cities to look into:

-Greenbelt (Greenbelt Metro Station might be a little far out there)

-Rosslyn (could find some nice deals here)

If you don%26#39;t mind motel type look up Motel 6, Super 8, Red Roof Inn. Go to the website and enter the city and it should give you what you want.

The Americana Hotel in Crystal City is a popular budget motel. It%26#39;s close to metro and the city. Check the TA reviews. Another option would be to check B%26amp;Bs. Look through the list in the hotels section under B%26amp;Bs. If you narrow down what%26#39;s available during your travel dates, post again for further advice. Good luck!

I live down the street from the Americana and it might fit your bill --- NO extras, inexpensive, clean, and safe. There is a metro station (Crystal City) 2 1/2 blocks away and is three stops to L%26#39;Enfant Plaza and four to Smithsonian. You are also within walking distance of 30 or so restaurants/bars.

Note, this place is very basic. Think 60%26#39;s Motel. Read the reviews to make an informed choice. You are in a safe neighborhood and very close to DC.

Not that I can find. But, the pictures that are on this website are very accurate and true.
