Metro to Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner?

I%26#39;m a student attending a conference at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner, McLean, VA. I would like to stay at a much less expensive place, within walking distance or easy access by public transit. Suggestions please?

Metro to Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner?

Across the street from the Ritz are two hotels that are cheaper-- The Holiday Inn Tysons Corner, 1960 Chain Bridge Road, and The Courtyard by Marriott, Tysons Corner, 1960A Chain Bridge Road. Both hotels offer a free shuttle to the Dunn-Loring Metro station. Just note that the Tysons Corner area is not pedestrian-friendly. If you stay at one of these hotels, see if they would be willing to shuttle you across the street to the Tysons Galleria where the Ritz is. There isn%26#39;t much in the way of public transportation either. The Fairfax Connector buses do go into the Westpark area of Tysons which is where all these hotels are.
