Please can any body help me, I am trying to locate a hotel I have been told is opposite Union station !! Its quite a big hotel not sure how many stars. Its on a corner with a Irish bar, this was about 20 years ago !!

Yes, the Phoenix Park was my first choice, until I discovered a better rate at the Hotel Monroe. But the PP is also a good choice, and received many favorable reviews here at TripAdvisor:

Hotel Madison, not Monroe. ;-)

Phoenix Park Hotel is right next to Kelly%26#39;s Irish Times and the Dubliner. Only Irish bars in that area and it sits on the corner of North Capitol and Mass Avenue and F Street.
