Ello, I%26#39;m looking for a little help in planning a trip to dc in the spring. We are looking at bringing 20 college art students for 4 days. Looking at staying outside of dc, for money reasons (trying to get 4 students per room at less than 100 dollars a night.) Would like to be within walking distance of a metro stop. Is this combination possible?
thanks,
Scott
Group tripUnder $100.00 could be a hard thing to do. If this is $100.00 per room and there are 4 students would they be able to make up the difference if it were about $150.00 p/room? Metro goes out pretty far into the ';burbs'; or surrounding areas of DC. So it is possible to be on the metro line. Also did you want to be near restaurants and some nightlife for them as well?
Try looking into:
-Arlington (Everyone one here seems to like the Americana Hotel in Crystal City) They don%26#39;t have a website but just google it.
-Bethesda or Friendship Heights would be nice as well. It%26#39;s a little further away from Downtown yet it is stil metro accessible. And the art students might like being in that area.
