You can also go to Whole Foods for organic food and produce.
I%26#39;m a fan of Whole Foods %26amp; Trader Joe%26#39;s, and am wild about Wegman%26#39;s -- best way I can describe it is ';Trader Joe%26#39;s on steroids';. But you will need a car: stores in Fairfax, VA %26amp; Sterling/Dulles; two more VA stores opening in Woodbridge and Leesburg. Although not the bulk of its inventory,

Oops, hit the Submit button too soon. What I meant to add that although organic/';health'; foods %26amp; products are not the bulk of Wegman%26#39;s inventory, it does offer a decent selection of them, at reasonable prices.
Answers in the order of questions:
1. Safeway- you get so much and they always have sales where you buy one get one free 10lbs for $10.00 you don%26#39;t have to get the 10lbs but when you buy like 2-3 lbs, you only pay about $2.00 or so. And you use your club card and get rewards. Not all of them are the same in the area either. I like the one on Wisconsin Avenue (Georgetown) I also like the one near my home in PG County. It%26#39;s huge, clean, great customer service. I can feed a family of 4 on $200.00 p/month shopping at Safeway. They have a good Organic label now call ';O';, those products are pretty decent.
2.Whole Foods. All of them aren%26#39;t the same in this area unfortunately. I have found that the location in Upper Georgetowns is the best I have been to all around. The Tenleytown location is good as well.
3. There are many Asian/Oriental markets in Northern VA. I can%26#39;t think of the name but there is one off of Wilson Blvd. that is great. Also another in Alexandria that is fairly large and you can buy almost everything. You could probably look it up in the phone book or on another directory list.
1. I like Trader Joe%26#39;s for prices, but personally don%26#39;t feel like I can do all my shopping there. If you have a club card, you can do well at Safeway, Giant or Harris Teeter. I%26#39;m a fan of Harris Teeter and Safeway myself, but probably just because they%26#39;re most convenient to me.
2. Sorry - can%26#39;t answer that one.
3. Grand Mart - 6326 Arlington Blvd (at Seven Corners) - they have incredibly cheap produce and a large variety of Asian and Latino products
I also love Wegman%26#39;s. They have a fantastic selection and it%26#39;s worth the trip to stock up on specialty items. Their usual grocery items are also well priced.
