This sunday

I am in washington this coming Sunday and needs some advise please. I am staying by the capitol buildings, we are wanting to visit the national cathedral by taxi and then on to arlington cem. Can anyone please tell me if this is possible in one day and if it is possible to get a taxi from the cemertary. How busy will both places by please.

This sunday

Absolutely do-able in one day, with several hours to spare. Cathedral is no problem to get to by cab, but I%26#39;m not sure about catching a cab back downtown. I%26#39;ve never seen a cab at Arlington cemetery, but there%26#39;s a Metro station right there that you can take back into the District. Or it%26#39;s not a bad walk over the bridge to the Lincoln Memorial. This is the off-season for tourists, so neither place should be crowded. Of course, any church will be active on Sunday, so there%26#39;s that. I%26#39;d check their websites for any special events on the day you%26#39;ll be there
