Me and my wife want to go up to DC for our one year anniversery next weekend. The 3rd tthrough the 5th.
A couple of things we would like to do is to visit the Zoo and the Basilica (sp?) Can anyone reccomend a nice place to stay? I dont really know what location to stay. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im looking for around 120 or so a night if possible. Would like a pool but not mandatory. Should we stay in the city or outside? I am leaning towards in the city but could be swayed either way.

You can get the Courtyard Embassy Row for the nights of November 3rd %26amp; 4th for just $109/night ($98 AAA rate) via marriott.com. For the price, it seems like your best bet. Convenient-enough, in-town location within walking distance of several Metro stops -- including the Red Line which is what you%26#39;d use to get to either the National Zoo (Woodley Park/Zoo station) or the Basilica (Brookland/Catholic University station), recently renovated, and it has a pool altho%26#39; that hasn%26#39;t gotten rave reviews here at TA:
