Drive in or take the metro?

We need to be in DC at our Hotel by around 4:30pm on a Saturday in a few weeks. We are driving down from Delaware (on 95) and staying at the Hotel Helix located at 1430 Rhode Island Avenue, NW. It looks like it is a little less than a mile from the McPherson Square station.

Do you think we are better off driving to the Greenbelt station and taking the metro in to town or driving directly to our Hotel?

Our parking is being paid for and we won%26#39;t need our car in DC. My main thought is to avoid traffic around DC.

Thanks for your insight.

Drive in or take the metro?

If parking is paid for, I%26#39;d recommend driving. You won%26#39;t have the hassle of taking Metro downtown with your luggage, and your car will be safer in the hotel garage than left at the Metro lot.
